Continuing Education Workshops

In our continued efforts to support principal based dental education within the community, Dr Duggan extends the opportunity for his fellow educational provider to utilize our facility to train their students.

Our services are geared towards the entire dental community, from the aspiring dental students to those currently in their practice.  The success of our students is a direct result of the structured individual guidance and the educational environment we have built.

Our mission is to guide each student in building a solid foundation so they may achieve success in dentistry.  Every member of our team is devoted to the future of dental healthcare providers.

Located on the second floor of a Spanish style Newport Beach commercial office building. The view from every window displays a wonderful California landscape that shifts with each season. With the exception of airplanes, the surrounding areas are very peaceful. We are located 2 miles from John Wayne airport and a stone’s throw away from hotels and restaurants.

We have recently built an addition to our teaching center and would like to offer this space to other educational providers.

  • Lecture Room 12-15 seats: $60 per hour
  • Simulation Lab 11 stations: $50 per student daily  up to (8 hours)
  • Overflow Lab8 stations: $80 daily.
  • Small faculty office: included during course offerings
  •  Video recording, editing and DVD production: $50 per hour. $40 per 5 minute clip for post-production image stabilization
  • Lunch #1 ($20 per person)
  • Lunch #2 ($25 per person)
  • Lunch #3 ($30 per person)

Lecture room

Excellent space for small audience lectures and presentations.  Large windows on both side of the room create an atmosphere that is both warm and inviting. For power point presentations this room can be darkened with window coverings.

Faculty office

This office is located on the street side of the building. Large floor to ceiling window faces the North West.  It is a quiet street making this space perfect for grading, sorting materials and scheduling one on one meeting with students.

Manikin based simulation dental lab

Room features: 34 ft. X 12 ft.

  • 11 Lab bench seats basically a simulation lab
  • 11 Lab bench seats with adjustable manikin with air control box
  • 11 adjustable task chairs
  • White counter top bench along the walls: students face the windows
  • Tall storage cabinet for course material storage
  • This lab will have water and suction available if needed.
  • 4 large windows with beautiful view of outside palm trees
  • 2 large indoor windows looking into Lecture room

Over flow manikin based simulation lab 

The overflow lab is located in the room adjacent to the main lab. This room is fully equipped and has private working stations. 2 students per station. This room is also set up for lectures. There is a white marker board and 12 tablet lecture chairs. This room has large windows along back wall alongside the lab stations.

Shared full service kitchen

We regularly prepare family style meals for our students in the facility. Menu options below can be prepared by our staff for your students in order to keep the flow of the class consistent throughout.

Room features: 36′ x 16′ 

  • Large windows overlooking outside
  • Coffee machine, Microwave, Full size refrigerator, Electric stove, Sink, Large floor to ceiling pantry, Water cooler, Cups, plates, bowls, eating and cooking utensils.
  • Dining area for students and faculty
  • Long tables for family style dining. Seats  10- 15 people

  • Point of view camera system: Duggan’s Point-of-View camera system: This POV system is superior to anything else on the market – is built around 4.0 power, 300 mm Zeiss lenses and has the capability to record the video and audio in stereo at the touch of a button on a DVD. This camera system was designed and built by us.

Duggan’s Staff can be available to assist in setting up for classes. If staff is needed for the full day or duration of your class please contact our office for more information on staff availability and pricing.

  • Tea, coffee, water and juice upon arrival $4.50 per person
  • Tea, coffee, water and biscuits or cookies for arrival $6.50 per person
  • Tea, coffee and water continuous- 4 hour service $7.50 per person.
  • All above continuous-8 hour service $10.50 per person

  • Assorted gourmet sandwiches:
  • Meats: Oven roasted Turkey, Roast Beef, and Baked Ham
  • Fresh Garden salad

  • Hot Plate options: Baked Salman, Baked Sea Bass, Roasted Chicken sliced, Roast beef, Corned beef, Pot Roast

  • Waiver of Liability agreement signed – for Company and for each attendee
  • $150 reservation fee on booked facilities – This is a nonrefundable fee which includes staff assistance in preparing lab for classes.
  • All dental educators must submit evidence of current license
  • Damage deposit for simulation lab of $1000
  • Menu options confirmed and paid at time of reservation
